hi there a while ago when i was shopping for a compressor this list gave me great advice. 'buy the biggest one you can afford' and you guy's where right. it is amazing what compressed air can do for you in the shop and it is amazing to see how much an air tool gobble up. the dealer i bought from used a term that stuck with me 'quality air'. that is air that is not to hot but steady. he said a compressor should run 50/50 or have the cubic ft output of the tool you are using. then the compressor isn't overheating and the air is not to hot for finishing etc. i used to have a sears/20gal tank and thought it was great now i have 80gal 5hp /2 stage techquip especially made to run cool. it was a big step up for me but so nice to work with and it runs slow so it is a bit quiter than some. wayne
