Quiet(er) Air Compressor

Brian, et al,
I have a "Husky" 26 gallon, 5 hp compressor. As my shop is small I needed a
bigger compressor, but have limited space. It is IN my shop. When it "goes
off", one can still carry on a conversation, w/o screaming, but I don't
recommend trying to tune with it going. I got mine at Home Depot. I shopped
all the big box and little box stores and this was the only one that fit the
"price"/"size"/Capacity, etc. Will your neighbors hear it? Probably, but
not so's it'd annoy them. That is unless you were using an air hammer to
drive pins! That's where the noise is!<G>
Best Regards,
