Yes, when a coil spontaneously unwinds, I will spend more time than the
price of a new coil to rescue it.  I figure there's more to it than just the
purchase price.  There's my time/cost to recycle the scrapped out wire.
There's our higher duty to environmental conservation.  Not to mention the
Scots in all of us.
