I am doing what I have said about Thump's non technical posts, that is =
sending them back to him privately.

His response is

     I am not currently posting political or religious
stuff, have as much right as anyone to post a little
humor, and will report this harrassment to Andy if you
don't desist immediately!

    Thanks for writing privately.
    Actually, I have recieved many, many letters of
support, privately, from other techs who share my
views. Even from some who are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay
further "left", politically, than myself!
     And, while I have felt inspired to bring up some
of the pressing issues of the day, I have never
engaged in hateful comments such as yours.
    I will not be posting further political items to
the list, and that should satisfy you. Furthermore, if
you continue with abusive posts to me I will report
this to your ISP.
