I certainly wasn't saying to ream, but rather asking the question. Some do always, some do sometimes and others don't. I don't really know what the deal is with that. I suspect that if your current torque is pretty uniform and the pin "feel" while tuning is good, reaming would NOT improve anything - don't do it. But perhaps when torque is all over the place and maybe you have jumpy pins, etc. reaming may well provide some benefits.
