I start with a quiet, dark tune "Shadows in the Rain" by Edward somebody, then a grand finale called "Magnificent Monarch" by Melodie Bober, which goes down to G1, and up to A7. Sometimes "Sonatina in D Maj." by Clemente if I can remember how it starts. On a poor spinet the left hand goes to a PP so it doesn't sound so icky.
