Tuning question (was Pianotech list)

I personally tune unisons as I go, and nearly always overlap my two
passes. Typically start at D3 and tune up to A4, then tune from A#4 to
E6 while double checking the 12th below. When I get to the point where I
have a double octave with a tuned 12th below the top note, I start
looking also at the developing 4:2:1 relationship and adjust as seems
neccessary. I continue this way up to C8.

Bass notes are done in somewhat similar fashion.

I find you need to keep track of at least two different tests to be
reasonably sure. I like 10ths and 12ths myself. But then useing an ETD I
also directly compare the 6:3 octave as it is very easy to do. You dont
want to get carried away with checks to the point where you use too much
time and effort tweaking beyond either your own capabilties or the
pianos resolution.
