Thanks Joe. I'm going to pursue conversion to wooden flanges instead. I have the Microfine Teflon, I have clear lacquer. Just mix them together and apply? How much powder per how much lacquer?

BTW, I used your Chrome X hide glue on my wippen heel action cloth today - worked great. Thanks.
