Hazen, sorry I forgot to mention this earlier. One of the big reasons I
enjoy Outlook on my PocketPC, is that I have an application that allows
me to call up data via voice. This means that while I'm driving, I can
simply speak, and have my PDA pull up address, phone number, directions,
and prior work history for any client. This gives the thing "utility",
which for me makes all the difference. Again, I'm sure there are better
alternatives out there, but I haven't found one, or had the motivation
to yet. Outlook keeps track of work I've done, when I did it, and for
whom. It also keeps all of the relevant contact information easily
accessible, and syncs with my desktop PC.

Happy to hear of anyone else's suggestions though :-)

Hazen,

I just use a Lotus Approach database on my office computer. From
this database I export the information to my PocketPC. Then I import it
using SprintDB Pro (Handango.com I believe offers it). The process only
takes a few minutes once you get the hang of it. The thing to check is
if you can export the data from the database you are currently using.
Since it does take some effort, I only update my PocketPC once a month
or so. But it is handy to have all the information with you.
