Hi One of my customers moved house and left her newish Yamaha C5 for a few weeks in the new home. On her return, she found some damage and called me. I found that mice had carefully removed all the hammer rest felts one by one and stored them in a corner behind the action as a nice warm nest for the winter. I was interested that none of the other felts appeared to have been touched. The blocks were white- could this account for their obvious attraction?
