Most George Steck pianos that I have serviced were created with interesting features. I don't know anything about Mr. Steck, but he must have been an innovator. There is an interesting example of a Steck old upright in the PTG Journal of November 1994, page 52. Carman Gentile RPT Redwood Chapter
