When the Pearl River factory string their pianos, do they use German eyes,
English eyes or Chinese eyes?

But seriously, there is many a former British piano name now being made at
Pearl River, for the past 5 years in fact. Eavestaff, Forest & Grant, Boyd
and I fear even Broadwoods, although assembled here (until recently), used
plates imported from the Far East.
