I also wapinized the piano in my living room.  It is a Samick SG185, about 10 
years old.  I did it over a weekend, when my wife was out of town.  She is 
the main player in the family.  When she returned she immediately said "It 
has better tone, what did you do?"   Let's just say that she wouldn't have 
been afraid to let me know if she didn't like it :).  
The thing I like about wapin is that it really is very simple.   It's not 
that big of a job, as things go.  At this point I would allow about two work 
days to do one solo, start to finish (stably tuned back up to pitch).    Two 
people working together might be able to do one in a day.
