It is, it is. But they have a clever little way of forcing you to either
pony up the $340 or unload the software.

To whit: After awhile, there begin to be increasingly long "time out"
periods where you sit at the piano with nothing to do but read the "buy me"
message on your screen and listen to the time ticking by ...
