-----Original Message----- Expanding my art is vital to me but I also appreciate the advancements of technology. For me they work in concert. If we keep our minds open, keep training ourselves and work together rather than against each other, we stand a much better chance of accomplishing what we desire. Allan Allan L. Gilreath, RPT I agree with Allan's message. I've tuned aurally for 26 years; bought an ETD at the Dallas Convention. It is not used exclusively, it supplements my work. To me there is a real sense of fulfillment upon completing an aural tuning on a fine piano. Sometimes the challange is to aurally render a good tuning on a PSO. The ETD reinforces what's been practiced over the years and comes into use when "bulk" tunings are necessary at a store or institution. It's another very good tool to use.
