Jon,
Not a thing, IMO. I use laminates for bridge caps, all the time. It's my
thinking that it is more stable/strong. It transmits the energy efficiently,
in my experience. I certainly wouldn't have a problem with it. However, it
is more difficult to "notch", so neatness may be a problem.
