Clyde, Yes, it is their "hand-made" series. Don Mannino can chime in here and give you the details. I think at the time the Piano Book came out, there wasn't any info on them. I was surprised it didn't appear in the most recent update either. If you have a Kawai dealer in your area, perhaps they have them on the floor. I have three clients who went out shopping for a "very good" grand piano, starting with Steinway. They didn't expect to end up with a Kawai, or any Japanese piano, for that matter, and all three were so impressed with them...they love them. jeannie Jeannie Grassi, RPT Associate Editor, Piano Technicians Journal mailto:jcgrassi@earthlink.net -----Original Message----- From: pianotech-bounces@ptg.org [mailto:pianotech-bounces@ptg.org] On Behalf Of Clyde Hollinger Sent: Wednesday, November 26, 2003 2:14 PM To: Pianotech Subject: Re: grand piano purchase Jeannie, I chose these out of the Ancott directory, which I expected to be pretty complete. Is the Shigeru Kawai a certain model under Kawai? The Piano Book mentions these pianos, but I can't find any further information regarding models or pricing.
