Hello David Love Have tuned that model "D" - No.63388 - which makes it circa 1880 and is very much the same as the model "D" at Glyndebourne - No.101390. Like two peas in a pod. They neither of them have the interesting characteristics you mention in your posting so can't comment. :-( Regards Michael G (UK)
