If you used the clip-on leads for levelling, did you hang them off the backs of the backchecks? This places too much back weight, lifting the front higher. They should be clipped on with the lead mass on the front of the backchecks. Or, did you place the paper punchings on top of the b/r felt and then flip over the punchings and paper to bury the paper. This places the keystick onto a different portion of the felt punching, one which is compressed differently. This is why you should not flip over the felt punchings but rather lift them off the pins, transfer the paper and be careful to replace the felt punching back in the same orientation. Perhaps the action was pushed in too far and the backchecks/keys were touching the dampers.
