One of the fires was started accidentally by a "hunter" who had become separated from his buddy. He used a flare to signal... Personally, I don't buy it. They have this guy in custody, but I think he's going to get off with a misdemeanor. There's also a report that a man was seen throwing something into the brush, and driving away in a van. I don't think anyone's been found/arrested in that case. I've not heard whether anyone was setting fires to find work fighting them, at least in this instance, but it's been done before.
