Sarah, Avery and List,

I've been a bit behind on my List-reading, so this might yet show up on Digests that I haven't yet (digested).......BUT.........as an old orchestral musician, "noodling" is that semi-irritating habit that (mostly) string and woodwind players have of playing relatively soft nothings while warming up, or in the most egregious of cases, while the conductor is talking to another section of the orchestra in rehearsal. The response is usually, "STOP THAT NOODLING!!!!" <grin>
