Torx, schmorx, Robertson, Phillips, etc., etc.

Is there a comparison of ease of use when driver is not (or cannot be) 
perfectly aligned with fastener?  Seems to me that square, hex or any of 
the spline types have to be aligned pretty closely or use a special ball 
tip driver.
