Take your needling tool with three needles in it set to 5 mm deep and 
about 0.5 mm into the wood back from the glue face make one full depth 
insertion. First to one bushing, then if needed to the other. You dont 
want to over do this either, so one shot on each bushing. If you cant 
get a tight enough fit that way, then you've really got to watch your 
easing technique :)
