Um, except that the doctor wasn't developing Remicade arthritis
treatments that prevent early joint destruction in otherwise healthy bodies, or new
procedures that allow people with defective hearts to continue active lives!
And it was cheaper all around when the average lifespan was only 50 years.
Today, the money in health care is going to pharmaceutical and insurance
companies. The only way to change that is to vote. If everyone that could vote
would do so, the special interest groups would lose their power to
manipulate. Politicians would be forced to vote for the greater good rather than
pandering appeasement of the special interest blocs that dominate the lobbyist's
endeavors.
   Vote! VOTE!
