I must disagree with Isaac on this point. It depends on the condition of 
the hammer to begin with. Secondly, pressing hard on the hammer is 
perfectly viable and will yeild different results then a light press. As 
holding the press at different points on the hammer for differing 
lengths of time.

At least thats my 3 øres :)
