fallboard stuck

You might also try removing the stringer- the wood panel behind the
fallboard. Sometimes you can take those off and that would give you access
to see what is going on there.

Check the lyre screws. Often enough someone mixes the legs and lyre
screws and they prevent action removal. Just unscrew them and see if
that helps.
