This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment Avery: I don't know if being a Baldwin dealer makes any difference, but I've ordered parts from Mr. Malone via email. He has supplied the parts for current models. I don't know if he stocks the older Wurlitzer parts. I think these older Wurli parts are actually Young Chang. It may be that these brackets were the ones that "grow" with time. I'd check with Young Chang to find out. As far as the Baldwin snafu, I feel your pain. $1.5K is a chunk of change. Sorry to hear about this. That was one the "things" when they bought Baldwin, that they were only buying their assets. NOT their liabilities! What a CROCK! JMHO! Besides, no one I've heard mention it on the list has ever gotten a response for him or anyone else! :-( Avery P.S, Of course, I lost over $1500.00 when all that happened! No, I'm not bitter. Not at all! At 10:13 AM 1/22/04, you wrote: You can email Thomas Malone at Baldwin (they make the current Wurlitzer): Thomas.malone@gibson.com . I don't know if they still have the parts you need. When I pulled the stack off to do a course adjust of the capstans(2 1/2 turns each) one of the brackets fell to pieces on the keys. Both it and the other interior bracket seem to have been epoxied together by a preceding tech. I need to find replacements for these(no I'm not going to try and do a better job of gluing). Does anyone know who would have made this piano probably in the late 80's to early 90's. My guess is Samick but I thought that I would check with you guys before proceeding. thanks for any help in advance Fred Brown RPT ATL GA _______________________________________________ pianotech list info: https://www.moypiano.com/resources/#archives _______________________________________________ pianotech list info: https://www.moypiano.com/resources/#archives ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
