hammer weight evening

Hello list.

Do you see a drawback, when trying to achieve a smooth curve in hammer 
weight, to simply reorder them from the heaviest to the lightest, 
instead of adding or subtracting weight to them ?  When not distant more 
than a couple one from the other, the hammers have quite the same shape, 
no ?  (Foreseen that you don't swith two hammers of different bore angle).
