well tempered temperaments

Ed, I interpreted the query as asking how to tune in well -- the bearing
plans etc. My website does not provide any info on aural methods. There is a
tuner in Madison who provides some such instructions on his website, but
they are for a well temperament that is not very balanced. Apart from that
and Jorgensen's work (not in print), I am not aware of any current
publications or websites that present the actual step-by-step.
