Ed, I interpreted the query as asking how to tune in well -- the bearing plans etc. My website does not provide any info on aural methods. There is a tuner in Madison who provides some such instructions on his website, but they are for a well temperament that is not very balanced. Apart from that and Jorgensen's work (not in print), I am not aware of any current publications or websites that present the actual step-by-step. || ||| || ||| || ||| || ||| || ||| || ||| || ||| || ||| jason kanter . piano tuning/regulation/repair bellevue, wa . 425 562 4127 . cell 425 831 1561 orcas island . 360 376 2799 ----- Original Message ----- From: <A440A@aol.com> To: <pianotech@ptg.org> Sent: Friday, July 09, 2004 4:26 AM Subject: Re: well tempered temperaments > Greetings, > << Just wondering if anyone can point a web link or a book on tuning well > temperaments. >> > > Yes, mine are on the signature line below, and Jason Kantor has a lot of > info at Rollingball.com > <A HREF="http://rollingball.com/TemperamentsFrames.htm">Temperaments > Visualized</A> > > > Ed Foote RPT > http://www.uk-piano.org/edfoote/index.html > www.uk-piano.org/edfoote/well_tempered_piano.html > > _______________________________________________ > pianotech list info: https://www.moypiano.com/resources/#archives >
