dampp chaser installation question

Hello Marcel and David,

We don't recommend that the power cord come in contact with the
dehumidifier. We have not seen a 50- watt rod melt a power cord, but we do
not recommend it. The cord to the LED light panel is not so durable so one
also needs to take care that it doesn't touch a dehumidifier. I believe
this is clearly illustrated in our instruction sheets, but I am one of those
folks who tends to ignore instructions. We are in the process of creating a
new installation video so that will be another chance to make the points
clearly.
