Quick fix for pedal lyre

The problem is you are right back to the wood screws, smaller than what was in there in the first place....try the t-bolts...cheap and you won't have that problem again.   The threaded insert has three points and goes in from the top of the keybed.    You drill a hole for the size lag bolt you are using (must match insert).    When you tighten down on the bolt it draws down the insert into the keybed.   Sometimes you have to slightly remove a little wood with a chisel so it goes to below the keybed level.
