Andre, Absolutely not!!! I was born in Brooklyn NY. and raised in Opelika, AL. As 'musician' I went back to NY. and went from there to every state in America, some islands in the Carribean, two tours to europe(short), and am awaiting a sheep shearing in Australia if I can get someone to fince the trip. I got burnt out on the performance part of the music business (Bass Trombone)and came back to open a piano tuning/rewhatever business. On my mothers grave, I will not forsake the Cusine that is the greatist of the western world, if not the first! Yes ,it is still the best food, in whatever world, yesterday, or today!!!! My grandparents on mothers side came here in the late 1900s from Abruzzi (just across form Rome on the Adriatic). The pasta sauces there are a variation of Roman, Semi Northern Italian, and Neopolitan, that in America became Ita;ian American. In my family, "if it isn't red it isn't Italian". Do not doubt their sincerety in this, without expecting some conflict, that no one wishes to happen. :-) Cheers Hubert ----- Original Message ----- From: "antares" <antares@euronet.nl> To: "Pianotech" <pianotech@ptg.org> Sent: Friday, July 23, 2004 12:33 PM Subject: Re: cholesterol OT OT > > On 21-jul-04, at 19:17, hubert liverman wrote: > > > Hubert > > (2'nd generation Italian American, and recovering Yankee). > > > > "Recovering Yankee" > > Does that mean that you turn your back on the very best food ever in > todays world? > > (; >)) > > friendly greetings > from > André Oorebeek > > Amsterdam - > The Netherlands > > www.concertpianoservice.nl > www.grandpiano.nl > > "where music is, no harm can be" > > _______________________________________________ > pianotech list info: https://www.moypiano.com/resources/#archives
