<grimacing>  Oh pooh!  I wouldn't have said that.  This is my field, sort
of.  I said it was one form of "senility."  The general term "dementia" is
still in current usage.  Way, way back when, we didn't really recognize that
there are different forms of dementia.  When people got old, they sometimes
became "senile," and that was the end of the story.  Now we recognize
numerous neurodegenerative processes, and Alzheimer's is one of them.
Alzheimer's is nothing new, and its origins can't be traced to the
introduction of any class of medications.  It's probably as ancient as the
APOE4 gene.
