This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment I am looking for some advice before I take apart a 1996 R series 5' 6" Baldwin grand. It was sold by a university and has been in the owners care for 4 years. The sustain pedal mechanism "thumps" or "whumps" when released. The dampers all shut off the strings fine. What might I look for after I pull out the action? I hope to have some ideas before I remove the action. Thank you.
