This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment Good Folks, On an Estonia 190 (6'3"), am experiencing damper zing at G2, (second note up from tenor break, if memory serves..) in a bad way. Damper seems to be coming down on a node (?). Surrounding notes are ok. Archive research suggests the following: 1) Add weight to underlever 2) Tilt damper head one way or t'other (as Dr. Wisner recently also suggested) 3) Re-configure damper felt on the head to possibly avoid node 4) Voice damper felt Have tried #2 and #4, with no success. Am not sure #1 is proper cure for this new piano, as it will presumably change touchweight unevenly. Could try #3, if other courses of attack don't present themselves, but am not sure what new configuration of felt might work best. Can anyone suggest other means, or point me in the right direction here? Thanks again, Chuck Christus ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
