I got it. I think the problem I had was that I first went to Ron Koval's Variable 1.9 which is loaded into the VT as Variable 2.0. The offsets are different--not surprising given their different names. I assume Ron modified one or the other as a product of further develpment. Do you know which is the most current of that particular temperament? Perhaps if Ron is listening... he can comment.

Nice collection of information, btw. My compliments on putting it together. Though I knew about the site, I had not visited it.

No, that is not correct. The offset for C, for example, is displayed right below the three columns that represent the CEG triad. This offset is also the very first line of the data table that lies below the column chart. This is also illustrated on the page "Reading the Charts".

Jason:

Am I correct in that your charts do not give the offset settings with which to program an ETD to achieve the various temperaments you have posted. If they are there, I was unable to locate them.

The quickest way in, and this does NOT require Acrobat reader, is here:
http://www.rollingball.com/TemperamentsFrames.htm

Please read the link "How to read the charts".

Please see Jason Kanter's excellent compilation of HT's here:

http://www.rollingball.com

It needs Adobe Reader to view the file.

Hello list,

Does anyone here have a table with different intervals as they appear in different tunings/temperaments that he/she would be willing to send me ? This would help me understand this debate on historical temperaments.

Peace,
jj
