I didn't find that the pliers worked.
Why not use the proper tool. An Allen wrench does not cost that much.
If the pliers work for you, they would damage the head.
We are professionals, so we should use the proper tool, if possible. (Not 
meaning, you aren't a professional :-))
Someone said a tuning hammer tip wrench worked for them.
A power screwdriver tip, reversed would work, with your pliers, and it is 
hard enough, it wouldn't be damaged.
