Hi Cy,
That is the Carl Meyer electric Knife adaption.
 Works great and fast if you can control it.
 What I use are several shoeshine paddles #s 305- 1,2,and 3. With the 305-3
paddle, one can change the grit being used quickly. The 1 and 2 paddles are
60 grit emery paper and are glued to the paddle with contact glue.  The
paper will eventually tear at the edge of paper and paddle, and one must
tear off an inch of paper and reglue the good paper to the paddle. 15 inches
of paper lasts over a year for me.
To support the hammer I use voicing tray #321. The tray  works on both
uprights and grands with a spacer used on uprights .
