Micrometer reading - 5 , and divide by 2. Gw=(d-5)/2

Hope that helps..

Subject: Calculate string size

Greetings,

Would someone be kind enough to tell me the formula for calculating the
string size with the reading you get from the micrometer measurement?
I.E. if the mic tells me the thickness is .033 of an inch, What is the
string size?

Thank you in advance

Mark
