Terry truth-tested the original formula and found a problem: Gw=(d-5)/2 Use .033 for the diameter "d", and that's what he got. If "d" is in thousandths, it's Gw=((d*1000)-5)/2. --Cy-- P.S. For extra credit, does anyone know the metric gauge formula? Bernhard?
