On the contrary, DC folks have explained to me that the on-off points = for the humidifier and dehumidifier on the humidistats are set such that = the two units will cycle back and forth - even in a case where the room = RH was 42%. I wish people would quite using the 42% thing like they do. First and = foremost, these things operate with a range of RH values for the on-off = cycling. Second, they will have some fluctuation with their accuracy. = And third, much will depend on how well the soundboard environment is = isolated from the room environment. I think one is fooling him/herself = is they think all the air surrounding the soundboard is exactly at 42% = RH all the time.=20 Slide a hygrometer up next to the soundboard for a week and see what I = mean. (And don't forget - no bashing here - I love DC units - they work = great!)
