Hi Barbara, Does the hall have a mini-shell that could be used behind the piano for solo performances? Your picture doesn't come through in enough detail to show the stage area other than the wonderful sound absorbing curtains. When used for orchestral performance is there a shell used? Or are those curtains there again robbing sound? Is there a proscenium arch? Have you investigated the "bottom lid" concept for this instrument? I'd recommend plywood under the piano. Is the piano also on a stage truck with sound robbing wheels?
