Point #2: How much do you think this would cost? A totally uneducated guess might be to start with $200K for a starting figure. Roughly $50 a head dues increase. If that doesn't ruffle your feathers, go to your local chapter meeting and urge the chapter delegate to write a dues increase proposal (line-itemed for PR/marketing) for the 2006 council, and urge them to amend the current dues increase proposal by the same amount (better sooner than later, right?). And if it goes down in flames, come back again the next year, and double the amount. If you're complaining about the status quo, it's time for you to become an activist and rally your chapter behind the Anderson campaign. If you're an Associate who agrees with Dave's letter, test up and become an RPT so you can VOTE for progress. Study the past -- Fern Henry launched a marketing campaign lo those many years ago but it was derailed by various factors, conditions, and factions. I can't claim sufficient experience or memory cells to tell the story, but let's not repeat the past and stop the efforts before they bear any fruit. Just a couple thoughts on sunny afternoon, Patrick Draine Billerica, MA
