How to find age of Baldwin 6'3

Check the back of the plate near the last tenor string hitch pin. There should be a letter 
cast into the metal. My 6'3" Baldwin is a model 'C' ca. 1928 which was the scale used in 
the early part of the last century (weird, referring to 'the last century' already)  'L' scale 
was later, after the '50's I think (my service manual is at the shop) and currently used to 
designate the 6'3"  That should help with a very approximate time frame for the 
instrument. Also, square mouldings around the curve of the case and large music racks 
are common to Baldwin grands prior to the 1960's.

And check everywhere for a serial, as others have suggested.
