Tom, Patrick, and list, Thanks for your comments re history and qualitly of Acros. Turns out this piano was made after the wire sticker era. Has "direct blow" compact action sitting above keys which are dog-legged down in order to reach under the wippens. Within its class (very short pianos) it seemed relatively decent design. As this particular example was in pretty rough shape, and overpriced, I predict it won't be moving off the dealer's floor for a while. Mike
