Hi Jack, (Don't say that out loud in an airplane!) Seriously, I don't think I put the PVC-E glue on too thick, but perhaps I did. My mistake was most likely in not clamping the key overnight. I observed the ivory piece curling up approximately 10 to 15 minutes after attaching it with PVC-E glue.
