Loose Bridge Pins and False Strings

You did? Which idea? Talk to me...

As I recall, one David Anderson first offered the idea that the 
string was off the notch edge because the notch edge was below the 
natural string line between the support point on the bridge and the 
capo.

Let's assign credit where it's due, and press on to some sort of 
understanding of how this works.
