Interesting, but the piano you have pictured here has the tail on the =
treble side of the piano, unlike a modern piano that the tail is off the =
bass side of the piano. The Herz piano that was pictured by Alexander in =
the original post had the tail off the bass end of the piano, like a =
modern piano, not like the one below.

Also, the big cut-off I see in the original photo would bisect the long =
bridge of the design drawn below.

Unless, of course, I'm dead wrong.
