Candle wax on keys, how to remove?

This happened to me - on the hammers of a school piano. It also went on the
covered strings and the wood part of the keys. I scraped as much of as I
could. It's a terrible old honky upright anyway - but it works. There's an
old dodge used in "quires and places where they sing..." when candle wax
gets on cassocks, hassocks and carpets, kitchen paper towel laid on the
spilt wax and dexterous use of an electric clothes iron does the trick. The
wax melts and is mopped up by the paper towel.
