This is a multi-part message in MIME format. ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment Hi again St=E9phane I think you really answer your own question here. And its a point I=20 like to try and drive home as well. The old panel can sound good... but = it does have a different character yes ?.. Point being you dont need to = rely on this or that or whatever process to get a soundboard that sounds = <<good>>. You DO need different processes to acheive certain acoustical = results. So yes...the CC board will take on a character of its own, and = the old board with the tomatoes squeezed out of it will take on its own=20 character, and yet another character if re-ribbed... etc etc etc. <<Good....>> is in the ear of the beholder. The rest is simply=20 different colours. Some like purple, some dont. Luckily we have all=20 these other colours to choose from. Nice posting by the way. You always write so descriptively... grin..=20 must a French thing :) Cheers RicB /But then, as a friend of mine pointed out, in old flat boards, there mus= t=20 not be that much compression left in the panel. Yet, some do sound very = good (in my world at least). This tends to cast doubt on what I just sai= d. As always, my general feeling is that things are not quite simple. Please forgive my unauthorized intervention, meant only to raise interest= ing=20 comments. Best regards.
